Explore the unexplored in LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL PARAGLIDING FLY in Gunung Raya. Langkawi Island is a gem for the State of Kedah, located in the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia. It’s consists of 99 beautiful magical islands, making it a popular tourist destination with its marine and natural attractions. Gunung Raya, with a height of 881 meters, is the highest mountain in the island. The South West Monsoon weather, the undulating shape of the earth’s surface, and the marble mineral resources produce good thermals that give Langkawi an advantage for paragliding enthusiasts from all over the world to explore Langkawi.
In conjunction with the Kedah Government and 26 years of paragliding in Malaysia, the Malaysia Paragliding and Hang gliding Association proudly brings you an event that we’ve been waiting for. It’s time for something different and something more adventure and challenge, where experienced or novice paragliding enthusiasts from various countries gather in an event. Get to know each other, make friends, share experiences, and increase knowledge. Together we advance the sport of paragliding in a safe and fun way.
